As we sleep, our body weight
must be adequately supported by the sleeping surface. Few areas of
support are provided by traditional surfaces. Ares of the head, shoulders,
tail bone and heels are subject to significant pressure. Increased pressure
restricts blood flow which results in our body repositioning itself to
relieve the pressure and increase blood flow. This repositioning works well
to promote blood flow, but it continuously interrupts our sleep. Each time
we toss and turn, our sleep is interrupted. Interruptions prevent us from
achieving a deep restful sleep. The result is that we wake up tired and not
as rested as we should be.

Pillow designs that use ripples, waves, ridges, or other manifestations cut
into the surface deliver less performance and value. These construction methods
are an effort to make inferior and less expensive foam perform like higher
quality foam. These are gimmicks and non effective.
Inner Liner
Memory foam is made of foam and small bubbles of air. These air bubbles can
attract dirt and dust mites if not protected by an inner liner. In addition to
an outer cover, Sleep Fresh® pillows include an inner liner which helps ensure a
