What is the TinnitusRelief ™ Program?

Dr. Grossan has found that one must undertake a program which covers and improves many parts of your life for an effective treatment. The program includes four parts:

The watch has a rotating bezel to mark each of the 10 therapeutic steps you will take to relieve your tinnitus or stress.
Each time you look at the watch to tell time, the bezel points to one of the steps to remind you to do the next step and turn the bezel. With the watch to remind you, you can't forget to take control of your tinnitus and feel better.

A CD for guided visualization.  Dr. Grossan takes you personally, on this special CD recording, to a "healing place". Is there any point to seeing a doctor for tinnitus since there is no cure?

Tinnitus has many origins and different causes. For most tinnitus there is cure or relief. Among the treatable conditions are hypertension, cerumen (wax) in the ear, Hydrops, Meniere's excess salt intake, pressure on the 8th nerve, and others discussed in the Tinnitus.Relief.net book. See page 18 of the TinnitusRelief.Net book.

What is tinnitus?
Tinnitus is a subjective sensation of a sound when no external sound is present. Like an itch when there is nothing on the skin. Like the visual disturbances that migraine people get. No one else can hear the sound and it can't be recorded by any means. See Page 9 of the TinnitusRelief.Net book.

What is objective tinnitus?
Here the observer, the doctor can hear the same sound yet there is no external source. The early heart valve replacements were like this. Sometimes there is a large blood vessel that is near the ear that can be heard as a pulsing sound both by the patient and the observer. This is discussed further in the TinnitusRelief.net book Page 22.

I take baby aspirin for heart prevention, but my uncle has tinnitus. Should I stop?
No, don't stop the baby aspirin. Tinnitus that comes on with salicylates,, is reversible when the salicylates are discontinued.

I tried Transcendental Meditation. It didn't help my Tinnitus. Would it be worth trying TinnitusRelief.net?
Yes. If you sit quietly you can't help but hear the tinnitus. Better to have music in the background. TM doesn't have a high rate of success with tinnitus. See page 34

I have hypertension. Is it OK to use your program?
When you use the TinnitusRelief.net program this may reduce your blood pressure and it is recommended that you check your pressure regularly to see if you can reduce or even stop your medications.

Are there any vitamins that should be taken for tinnitus?
Yes, I recommend Vitamin B6 - pyridoxine 100 mg twice a day. Also an antioxidant formula daily. The blood should be tested to see if there is enough B12 and this should be supplemented if needed.
